Cub Gym

Cub Gym

This gym is for teenagers who have an active lifestyle

Did You Know?

Brown bear cubs are born during the winter months while their mother is in hibernation. They are born blind and hairless, weighing only around 1 pound. In the safety of the den, the cubs will nurse and sleep for several months until they are strong enough to venture outside.

Cubs bawl and moan when distressed, and make grunting purr sound when suckling. Females communicate with their young by grunts or moans to send their cubs up trees for safety, or have them follow her. A bear that feels threatened does not roar or growl.

What Do Cubs Enjoy?

Cubs like to have fun and play with each other and their friends. Know that play bouts help them develop socially whilst also helping learn essential survival skills. Cubs are particularly playful and they enjoy chasing after and tackling their siblings and also fight with their mother too
